The River District offers several restaurants (Sushi Mura is a favourite of ours), cafe’s, bars, pharmacy and a grocery store (Save On Foods). Click on the maps below for directions.
It is a 7min drive (take a right) along South West Marine Drive. There is parking underneath Save On Foods.
When returning, turn left on Victoria Drive – just past Duff St and drive to the bottom of Victoria and around the winding lane to find Duff (it is short cut!).
It is about 15min by bus. The bus stop is a block away (N/E) on our side of Marine Drive. Look for the 100 bus – 22nd St and go 2 stops (they are 2-3 time per hour). The River District is a short walk from the bus stop. Ask the driver if you aren’t sure which stop to exit!
If you are ok with a walk, – it is around 30min. Sometimes a scenic walk there and bus back is a good option!
